Study and be a mother at the same time

Is it possible to study and be a mother at the same time ? The answer is yes. It is never too late to achieve the goals we have set for ourselves in our lives.

Many mothers choose to study or graduate from university and raise their children at the same time.

If you are contemplating this possibility, or have already begun it, keep in mind that there will always be a voice telling you that you cannot.

She will tell you that there aren’t enough hours in the day, or that you will fail if you try. Don’t listen to these negative statements!

Nobody knows your abilities better than you and the willpower and circumstances that enable you to achieve this goal.

It goes without saying that it is not an easy goal. Studying and being a mother at the same time requires a lot of sacrifice and undoubtedly cooperation.

How can you study and be a mother at the same time?

Many women get dizzy when they ask this question. It makes sense: not all children are created equal, and not all mothers have the opportunity to go back to university and pursue their goals.

But with planning and perseverance, anything is possible. Here are a few things to keep in mind:

1. Organization and discipline

You wo n’t have much rest and relaxation, of course. This is why it is important that you use the time you have to do your homework, study, and attend lectures.

When can you do that One possibility is to bring the child to a daycare center in the  morning There is often financial support for this.

On the other hand, you can also rely on the help of your family. You can ask your grandparents or uncle for support, especially before exams or on certain dates.

Logically, you should also use the time when the father is busy with the child.

2. The willingness to make sacrifices

Such a big task can be doubly worthwhile once it’s done and there’s no doubt about it. However, there is a lot of work to be done along the way.

You also need to set certain things aside. For example, mothers often cannot keep up with their classmates or devote themselves 100% to their studies.

This applies to both academic and recreational areas.

You should also know that studying takes up a large part of your free time.

That means less physical activity, fewer movies and TV shows, fewer hobbies and, unfortunately, less family time. But for nothing in the world should you neglect your children.

3. It is important to take breaks

Too many tasks can overwhelm you and give your life a new pace that is difficult to get used to.

Therefore, set yourself realistic goals and integrate mandatory moments of rest into your routines.

This is the fuel that you need to energize your tasks. You need it for your health. If you don’t, sooner or later you will get sick or even drop out of your studies.

4. Persuasiveness and needs

When you have doubts about whether or not you will succeed, you need to be convinced that courage and self-love lead you to it.  If you work hard for it, there is no doubt that you will achieve your goal.

On the other hand, it will be impossible for you as a mother and student to stand out in all areas as you would like.

Don’t push or blame yourself: keep calm and remember that not everyone faces these challenges. Don’t compare yourself to anyone, only you know yourself best.

5. Enjoy time with your family

It is completely understandable that you want to do your best for your studies, but that should n’t stop you from spending time with your child and partner.

Studying and being a mother at the same time is definitely possible, because

  • it is not true that you have to devote 100% of your life to your family and their wellbeing. You have your own life goals and desires and don’t have to feel guilty.
  • It’s also not true that commitments should keep you from enjoying time with loved ones. The key is balance. You will find time for everything.

In addition  , it is important to be satisfied with yourself  and enjoy your life.

If you study and quit because of pressure or criticism from others, you will not be able to achieve your dreams. Nobody knows your priorities and wishes better than you.
