Practical help through lists

You have to make you not too worried but in the days before the birth, the clinic will give you a list with the basic products that you should bring and etc the necessary documents, medicines. You will surely get valuable tips from people around you, for example from grandmothers, friends and other relatives with experience.

A list is always very helpful so that we don’t forget anything. This list can look something like this.

  • Everything the baby needs.
  • Nursing nightwear. Remember that when you sleep you need special nightgowns that can be easily opened for breastfeeding; preferably made of cotton or soft and comfortable materials
  • Cotton or disposable panties that are large and have a high waistband.
  • Abdominal belt – it supports the regression.
  • Special bandages for heavy bleeding after childbirth.
  • Slippers and warm socks.
  • Nursing pads and bras.

The clinic bag for mom can also be a fashionable product. There are very stylish models.

  • Clothes to leave the clinic. This should sit loosely. Preferably, it’s the one you used in the last few months of pregnancy.
  • Personal documents such as  ID cards, debit cards, cash, medical examination reports.
  • Everything for your personal hygiene (comb, toothbrush and paste, hair clips, soap, shampoo, etc.)
  • Depending on your personality, it is important to include possible extras. For example make-up, photo and video cameras, books, music or personal items with sentimental value.

Note that the due date is estimated and the baby can be born earlier. That’s why you shouldn’t start packing the clinic bag in the last few days. From the 37th week the baby can come at any time. So it is better to be prepared.

Having the clinic bag ready by the seventh month or waiting until the last week is a decision that is in the hands of every mother. However, our advice to the future mother is that she pack the bag calmly and early. So father and mother can concentrate all energies on the birth and do not have to do any last-minute shopping.
